Chang Deng is currently a 5th year standing student in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University.  He will obtain his Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree in July 2016, with a focus in lighting design and power distribution.  
 
Working as a combined heat and power technical asstance partner at Grid Smart Training & Application Resource Center (GridSTAR) in Philadelphia Navy Yard, gave him a unique experience about applying sustainbility features onto residential buildings in summer 2014.  More recently, he had his internship with Integral Group in San Jose California. Working alongside professional electrical and mechanical engineers on mutiple projects, gave him an in-depth view of the building industry from disciplines including building power distribution methods, mechanical system selection and sustainable design techniques
